HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - Saint Mary's College's eight Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association-sponsored programs earned the MIAA Team GPA Award for the 23-24 academic year, the league announced on Thursday.
The MIAA Team GPA Award is presented to conference athletic teams that achieve a 3.300 or better GPA for an academic year. Grade-point averages are calculated at the end of the academic year. The eight Saint Mary's programs were amongst 118 MIAA-sponsored programs to earn the award.
The Belles had two of the five programs to surpass the 3.800 plateau. Those being the Cross Country (3.820) and Golf (3.819) programs.
