FREELAND, Mich. - Junior outfielder Kelsey Keilman was named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Position Player of the Week while freshman Mandi Hettinger picked up MIAA Pitcher of the Week accolades for their efforts last weekend.

A native of South Bend, Indiana, Keilman posted a .500 batting average in a pair of games for the Belles last Friday. She had a double, a triple, scored a run, drove in two runs, and stole a base while tallying a 1.000 slugging percentage.

A native of Winamac, Indiana, Hettinger scattered four hits over three innings of relief work in the Belles' contest against Concordia University Ann Arbor on Friday. She did not allow a walk or an extra-base hit and limited the opposition to a team-low .308 batting average.

It is the first MIAA Player of the Week honor for both student-athletes.
