JACKSON, Mich. - The Saint Mary's golf team put up a team score of 322 to defeat Albion head-to-head in the Cascades Invitational on Wednesday.

The Belles' 322 was 14 strokes ahead of Albion's 336. Spring Arbor sent three players to the event, which was not enough to qualify for a team score.

Julia Lizak took first individually with a 76. Haley Angel was a stroke back with a 77 to place second. Georgie Kersman shot an 84 to tie for sixth. Joanna James posted an 85 for eighth place. Breana Harrington rounded out the Saint Mary's efforts with an 87 to place 11th.

The Belles now look to the final three MIAA rounds of the year. The MIAA Jamboree hosted by Trine, which has been rained out twice, is slated to tee off on Thursday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Zollner Golf Course.
