HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - Saint Mary's sophomore Julia Lizak was named as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week on April 15.

 

A native of Riverview, Michigan, Lizak finished tied for ninth out of more than 100 golfers at the Illinois Wesleyan Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling. She shot rounds of 73 and 77 to post her best 18-hole and 36-hole scores of her collegiate career. Her scores also helped the team finish seventh in a field of 21 teams.

 

It is the second MIAA Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honor of her sophomore year and third of her career.
