FREELAND, Mich. - Senior lacrosse player Bridget Kane was named as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, April 11.

A midfielder from Binghamton, New York (Seton Catholic Central), Kane was instrumental to the Belles' 24-23 win against MIAA preseason poll favorite Hope. She scored a career-high six goals, including the game-winner with under 50 seconds to play, while sharing the team lead in goals scored on the night. Kane added two assists, a team-high eight draw controls, three caused turnovers, and two ground balls while making several defensive plays which are not reflected through statistics to lift the team to the win.

It is her first MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honor this season and the second of her career.
