The 2024 Saint Mary's lacrosse team officially begins their season this weekend with a two-day trip to Wisconsin for a pair of contests.

The opening draw of the season will take place on Saturday, February 24 when the Belles take on Edgewood. The squad then makes a short trek across I-94 to face Carroll on Sunday, February 25. Another road contest to close out February will lead to the team's home opener on Saturday, March 2 as Saint Mary's hosts Carthage. Conference play kicks off on Friday, April 5 with a 7:00 p.m. competition at Albion.

Valentina Rubio (33 G | 21 A), Alyssa Grant (26 G | 11 A), Christiana Singler (16 G | 7 A), Reese Bauer (13 G | 7 A), and Julia Gorski (13 G | 4 A) all posted at least 10 goals a season ago and make up an experience group of attack and midfield options for the Belles in the season ahead. Elizabeth Bourassa and Kate King were mainstays on the defensive end with the pair starting in each of the team's 19 games last spring. Emma Zmudzinski had a strong sophomore season in goal and tallied 11 wins with over 100 saves a year ago.
