NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's tennis team powered their way past visiting Adrian for a 9-0 conference win over the Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon.
Gulli did not drop a game all day as the freshman was the first player off the court with a 6-0, 6-0 win at three singles. Becker joined Gulli in posting unblemished scores on Saturday as the sophomore clinched the team win with a 6-0, 6-0 decision at six singles. Brandt prevailed 6-2, 6-2 at five singles, and Chamberlin added a 6-4, 6-2 win at four singles.
Monica Davy took a 6-2, 6-2 match at one singles for the Belles.
Megan Davy had an impressive comeback at two singles as the sophomore bounced back from a 6-0 loss in the first set to win the second set 6-4. She then took the tiebreaker 10-5 for the 9-0 team win.
The win gives the program its thirteenth consecutive year with at least ten team victories.
The Belles (10-6, 3-0 MIAA) travel to Illinois tomorrow for non-conference matches against St. Norbert and North Central, both of which are hosted by North Central.
