HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - Saint Mary's junior Alayna Campbell was named as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week on March 4.

 

A native of Granger, Indiana, she posted a combined 6-0 record on the week at one doubles, one singles, and two singles as the Belles won three matches. All three of her singles wins came in straight sets as she dropped just 11 combined games over that three-win span. Each of her doubles wins were by at least three games over the competition with two of those victories coming in by 8-1 margins.

 

It is the first MIAA Athlete of the Week honor of her junior year and is the second of her career.
