The tennis duo collected two of the team's five wins in a thrilling win over Carthage last Saturday. Emma, a sophomore from Hudson, Ohio, had an opening-set comeback and then went on to battle her way to a nail-biting 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 win at two singles to clinch the team victory. Anna, a freshman from Houston, Texas, posted a massive 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 comeback win at four singles. The pair teamed up for a critical 8-4 win at two doubles for the Belles, and Emma was named MIAA Tennis Athlete of the Week.
