The Saint Mary's athletic events scheduled for Saturday, September 28 have both been affected by a record-breaking rainfall throughout the region.

The third Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's golf jamboree scheduled for Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana has been postponed. A makeup date has yet to be determined.

The home soccer contest between the Belles and Heidelberg University has been canceled. The greater South Bend area had sustained storms and rainfall from Friday evening through the early Saturday morning hours. The South Bend International Airport had a record-breaking rainfall of 2.95 inches as of 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning as rain continued to fall.

An announcement will be made when the golf event has been rescheduled.
