Rauch Named to All-MIAA Second Team

FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's softball player Alexis Rauch earned All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) recognition for the 2022 season.
 
A freshman from Niles, Michigan, Rauch was among the top 16 players in batting average over the conference season as she posted a .409 batting average with 18 hits, eight runs, and four doubles in the team's 16 conference games. She was also in the top 15 among conference players in slugging percentage with a .568 while Rauch's 17 runs batted in put her in a tie for eighth. Rauch, who split time between first base and left field, tallied at least one hit in 10 conference games and had multiple hits on six occasions.
 
It is the first All-MIAA honor of her career.
