Belles Announce Schedule Under First Year Head Coach

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College Softball announced their 2025 slate on Tuesday, the first under new Head Softball Coach Jordyn Walter.

The Belles kick off their season in paradise as they head south to Kissimmee, Florida to compete in The Spring Games. Saint Mary's starts the season on March 9 as they take on Carlow University and the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. Play continues on March 10 as they take on St. Catherine University and Russell Sage College and on March 11 when they play Washington & Jefferson College and New England College. The Belles take a day off before taking on Meredith College and Gordon College on March 13. They then wrap up the trip on March 14 with games against Utica University and Lasell University.

Saint Mary's returns to the midwest on March 18 for a double-header at Aurora University. The Belles begin their home schedule with a six-match homestand against three opponents. They kick off the homestand on March 21 when they host Elmhurst University for a late afternoon double-header. They continue the homestand on March 29 when they host North Park University for a double-header before finishing the homestand on March 31 when they host Franklin College for an early afternoon double-header.

The Belles go on the road for a double-header on April 1 as they head to Anderson, IN to take on Anderson University. They then return back to the Purcell Athletic Fields on April 5 when they kick off their second six-match homestand and kick off MIAA play when they host Alma College for a double-header. They continue the homestand with a double-header against fellow MIAA foe in the University of Olivet on April 8 before hosting Manchester University on April 10 for the final two non-conference games.

Saint Mary's then heads north to take on Kalamazoo College on April 12 for two games before returning home to host Trine University for two on April 16. The Belles hit the road again as they head to Adrian, MI to take on Adrian College for a double-header on April 24 before returning to Notre Dame, IN for the home finale on April 26 as they host Calvin University for an early afternoon double-header.

The Belles finish the season with back-to-back road double-headers as they travel to Holland, MI to take on Hope College on April 30 before finishing the season on May 2 at Albion College.

Saint Mary's heads into this season after finishing the 2024 campaign with a 10-22 overall record and 5-11 MIAA record and head into their first season under Coach Walter.
