NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College STUNT defeated Heidelberg University, 7-1, and Malone University, 5-4, on Saturday to open the Crossroads Rumble. The Belles improve to 4-0 to open the season.

Saint Mary's vs Heidelberg

The Belles would get out to a quick 2-0 lead before halftime along with a couple forfeits from the Student Princes. Saint Mary's would go into the fourth quarter with a 3-1 lead and wouldn't look back as they would finish off Heidelberg to win 7-1 in the opening game of the Crossroads Rumble.

Saint Mary's vs Malone

Malone got out to an early lead as they led at halftime, 2-1. Saint Mary's would take a 3-2 lead in the third quarter before an unsuccessful challenge from the Pioneers which saw Saint Mary's keep their third point of the game. The Belles would hold their lead and finish their day with a 5-4 victory.

Saint Mary's continues the Crossroads Rumble on Sunday with matchups against Lewis University (previously the University of Michigan before a dropout) at 12:45 pm. The Belles will conclude the Crossroads Rumble with a matchup with Concordia University Chicago at 3:30pm.
