NEWBERG, Ore. - Saint Mary's College STUNT fell in both of their matches on the final day of the Pacific Northwest Open, falling to George Fox University, 5-4, and falling to Trevecca Nazarene University, 12-0. The Belles fall to 6-6 on the year.
Saint Mary's vs George Fox
George Fox would take an early lead with a point in the first quarter before taking one point in the second quarter, going into halftime with a 2-0 lead. Saint Mary's would come out and earn two points in the third quarter, but the Bruins would also take a point in round two to keep a one point lead going into the final quarter. After trading points in the first round of the fourth quarter, a Belles challenge would award both teams points in the pyramids and tosses portion. No points would be awarded in the second round of the quarter, allowing the Bruins to maintain their one point lead and secure a 5-4 victory over the Belles.
Saint Mary's vs Trevecca Nazarene
Trevecca would sweep the first two quarters, taking an early 4-0 lead, going into halftime. The Tojans would extend their lead to six going into the final quarter. Trevecca would continue their dominance in the fourth quarter, taking all six points to secure their 12-0 win.

Saint Mary's heads back on the road to continue the regular season on March 22 as they travel to Storm Lake, IA to take on Central Methodist University and the host Buena Vista University. The Belles conclude the regular season on April 4 at home as they host the University of Olivet and Concordia University Chicago.
