FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's freshman Hannah Finley was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Golfer of the Week on Monday, April 8.

 

A native of Kent, Ohio, she competed as an individual at the WashU Spring Invite and had the best tournament performance of her freshman season. Finley finished tied for 12th overall after a 77 on Sunday gave her a two-day score of 155. She two birdies and posted 21 pars over the two-day tournament. She did not have a score above a bogey in 36 holes of competition.

 

It is the first MIAA Golfer of the Week honor of her career.
