CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Saint Mary's junior golfer Hunter Kehoe was one of twelve NCAA Division III women's golfers to be named to the 2019-20 Region 4/Great Lakes All-Region Team by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

Sixty student-athletes in five separate regions were recognized with All-Region honors by the WGCA for the 2019-20 year.

A native of Traverse City, Michigan, Kehoe set a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) conference standard for scoring average in a season as the junior had a 75.67 average score over six 18-hole rounds of the fall season. She was the medalist or tied for medalist honors in five of eight tournaments during the fall campaign and averaged a career-best 12.1 greens in regulation per 18 holes played. According to GolfStat.com, Kehoe is ranked 15th in NCAA Division III women's golf in scoring stats versus par among players with at least 10 rounds played and is 38th in the overall compare record.

The 2019 MIAA Season Medalist and Most Valuable Golfer, she became the first Saint Mary's golfer to repeat both accolades as Kehoe garnered both accolades in 2018. A three-time MIAA Golfer of the Week in the fall 2019 season, she is a three-time All-MIAA First Team honoree.

"Hunter is an exceptional talent," said head coach Kim Moore. "Her desire to be one of the best golfers - not just in the region, but nationally - is hard to find at this level. She leads by example and is one of the hardest workers on this team. Hunter is definitely one of the most talented golfers to ever wear the French Cross, and she is constantly pushing this program to new heights. Her expectations to be great push me to be a better coach for her and for her teammates. I am extremely proud of Hunter because I know how hard she works."

It is the second consecutive All-Region accolade for Kehoe as she was a Region 2/Great Lakes selection last year.
