Belles Finish First at MIAA Jamboree Hosted by Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Saint Mary's golf team shot a 326 and took first place at the second MIAA jamboree of the season on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Belles' 326 was four strokes ahead of Olivet (330) and 13 strokes lower than Calvin (339) at Adrian's Lenawee Country Club.
 
Hunter Kehoe was the round medalist after posting a 77. The junior was tied for the lowest par three and par four scoring on the day while sharing round-best honors with 11 pars. Sydney Hruskoci carded an 80 and was tied for third overall. Hruskoci joined Kehoe with two birdies in the round and had eight pars while posting a one-over collectively on par five holes.
 
Summer Stillson shot an 81 to tie for fifth in the field. Stillson had 10 pars and was one-over on par five holes in the round. Erin Bennett wrapped up the team score with an 88 and was tied for 20th. Hannah Finley was the fifth golfer in the Belles' lineup and shot an 89 to tie for 25th. Finley turned in a pair of birdies on the day.
 
Maggie Sexton competed as an individual and shot and 86 to tie for 11th overall. Sexton registered eight pars and was one-over on par five holes in the round.
 
The Belles travel to Angola, Indiana on Saturday for the third MIAA Jamboree, which is hosted by Trine at the Zollner Golf Club starting at 1:00 p.m.
