ANGOLA, Ind. - The Saint Mary's golf team posted a 312 to take first place at the MIAA Jamboree hosted by Trine at Zollner Golf Course on Wednesday evening.

The 18-hole round was originally scheduled for Saturday, but heavy rain throughout northern Indiana postponed the round to Wednesday. Hunter Kehoe led the Belles with a two-over par 73 to finish second overall. Summer Stillson was fourth with a 77 for Saint Mary's. Sydney Hruskoci carded an 80 to tie for sixth place overall. Hannah Finley turned in an 82 to wrap up the team score while finishing tied for eleventh. Erin Bennett was the fifth golfer in the lineup for the Belles and shot an 88 for a share of 25th.

Katherine Hopkins competed as an individual and shot a 91 to tie for 38th in the field of 57 golfers.

The Belles have a quick turnaround as they tee off the fourth MIAA Jamboree of the season on Thursday, October 3 starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Medalist Golf Club. Olivet will serve as the host of the event.
