HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - Saint Mary's student-athletes Haley Angel and Colleen Hand were selected by the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) as Women's Golf Co-Athletes of the Week on April 22.

 

Angel, a senior from Tampa, Florida, and Hand, a freshman from Royal Oak, Michigan, shared medalist honors at the MIAA Jamboree hosted by Trine last week. The pair shot matching scores of 78 to help propel the team to a 12-stroke win over the rest of the field. 

 

It is the first MIAA Athlete of the Week honor of the year and second of her career for Angel. It is the first of Hand's career.
