The 2023-24 Saint Mary's golf team looks to regain the top spot in the MIAA this fall as the Belles begin their season this weekend in Ohio.

The team begins the season at a competitive Denison Lynn Schweizer Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The Belles open conference competition with the first MIAA Jamboree on September 14, which is hosted by Albion. Tournament experience at the Illinois Wesleyan fall Classic and the Benedictine Midwest Region Classic then prepares the team for the final three MIAA Jamborees of the fall.

The squad returns several contributors to last year's season while gaining a strong newcomer to the mix. Katelyn Tokarz and Julia Lizak both competed in each tournament round for the Belles a year ago, and the pair will be looked toward to lead the team in 2023-24. Tokarz garnered Second Team All-MIAA honors last fall while posting scoring averages below 81 in both halves of the year. Lizak improved her fall scoring average by better than a stroke and did not post a score above an 84 in the spring. Colleen Hand comes to Saint Mary's after a successful high school career in Michigan, which was capped off with her team's top finish at the MHSAA Division 3 State Finals.
