FREELAND, Mich. - Erin Doyle and Emily Kraker repeated as Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Most Valuable Offensive and Defensive Players as a program-record seven Saint Mary's student-athletes garnered All-MIAA honors for the 2021 season.

Doyle, a senior from Niskayuna, New York, was selected as the MIAA Most Valuable Offensive Player after registering 88 goals, 29 assists, and 117 points overall in the 2021 campaign. In the seven games which counted toward conference standings, Doyle tallied 43 goals, 13 assists, and 56 points to average 8.00 points per game in 2021. She broke the MIAA records for goals (134) and points (164) in a conference career, accomplishing the feat in just three seasons due to the cancellation of the 2020 season due to COVID-19. The senior was second in the conference-only standings in ground balls (27) and third in caused turnovers (14). Doyle becomes the first player in MIAA history to repeat as Most Valuable Offensive Player and the first player to garner the accolade more than once in league history. A two-time MIAA Offensive Athlete of the Week this spring, Doyle was also named to the All-MIAA First Team for a third time in her career.

Kraker, a senior from Westerville, Ohio, was named MIAA Most Valuable Defensive Player after leading all netminders in wins (6), saves (80), goals-against average (11.09), and save percentage (53.7 percent) in league play in 2021. Overall, Kraker led all goalies in the MIAA in total saves (181), save percentage (50.8 percent), and wins (13). The senior becomes just the second player in MIAA history to repeat as Most Valuable Defensive Player. A two-time MIAA Defensive Athlete of the Week honoree in 2021, Kraker was named to the All-MIAA First Team for a second time in her career.

Erin Dotson and Molly Mullett joined Doyle and Kraker as All-MIAA First Team honorees in 2021.

Doston, an attacker from Oak Park, California, was eighth in the conference in total scoring this spring with 28 goals in six contests played. The sophomore had 20 goals and added eight assists and was second in the conference in shots on-goal percentage among players with at least 40 shots with an 87.7 percent effort.

Mullett, a defender from Ada, Michigan, led all players in the conference with 34 ground balls and was third in draw controls (38). The sophomore tallied 15 goals and seven assists for 22 points in seven conference contests. It is the first All-MIAA honor for the pair.

Gabby Belsito, Bridget Kane, and Sarah Frick were All-MIAA Second Team honorees for the Belles in 2021.

Belsito, an attacker from El Cajon, California, scored 11 goals and added six assists in the team's seven conference games. Overall, the junior tallied 45 points with 33 goals and 12 assists with 30 ground balls. It is the first All-MIAA recognition of her career.

Kane, a midfielder from Binghamton, New York, was tied for third among league players in assists (11) in conference play as the junior added 15 goals for 26 points in six MIAA contests. She was tied for ninth among all players in the conference in ground balls (18) and caused turnovers (11). It is the second All-MIAA Second Team honor of her career.

Frick, a defender from Hershey, Pennsylvania, was second in the conference in caused turnovers (16) and was tied for ninth in ground balls (18). It is the first All-MIAA honor of her career.

The seven All-MIAA accolades surpasses the previous program record of six set in 2019. Saint Mary's was the 2021 co-champion of the regular season and captured the 2021 MIAA Tournament title.
