FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's senior Emily Kraker was named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week on Monday, April 12.

A native of Westerville, Ohio, Kraker collected a career-high and school-record setting 21 saves in goal as the Belles won an 18-17 conference game at Kalamazoo on Saturday evening. Along with a team-high seven ground balls, she saved 55.3 percent of the shots on goal she faced and made a game-saving stop with less than three seconds remaining in the second half to preserve the one-goal win.

It is the third MIAA Athlete of the Week honor this season and fourth MIAA Defensive Athlete of the Week recognition of her career.
