FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's senior Emily Kraker was named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for her performance leading up to April 5.
A native of Westerville, Ohio, Kraker played an integral role for the Belles in wins at Calvin and at Trine. She made 29 saves with a .569 save percentage, which included a .600 save percentage and a team-high six ground balls at Calvin.
It is the second MIAA Athlete of the Week honor this season and third MIAA Defensive Athlete of the Week recognition of her career.
