FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Lacrosse senior goalkeeper Emma Zmudzinski (Granger, IN) was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Lacrosse Specialist of the Week after her career performance vs Indiana Tech last week.
Zmudzinski would record a career-high 17 saves against the ninth ranked Warriors while recording an incredible career-best 53.1 save percentage. Zmudzinski would also lead the Belles to completing 9 of 12 clearances on the game. She would also slow down an offense that put up 21 points against fellow MIAA member Kalamazoo, allowing the Warriors to complete just 2 of 13 free position shots.
Zmudzinski and the Belles kick off their spring break play tonight as they take on Sewanee in Newberg, OR starting at 9pm EST. They then conclude their trip with a matchup against George Fox University on Thursday, March 13, starting at 9pm EST.
