FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's sophomore forward Rose Stackhouse has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer contests played from August 30 through September 1.

Stackhouse, a native of St. Charles, Illinois, contributed to each of the team's five goals as the Belles went 2-0 to open the 2019 season. In a 2-0 victory at Bluffton, the sophomore scored each of the team's goals while registering her fourth multi-goal game of her career. Two days later, she scored two goals - including the game-winner - and added an assist in a 3-2 home victory over Earlham. The Belles are off to their first 2-0 start since the 2011 campaign.

The MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honor is the first of her career.
