FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's soccer player Rose Stackhouse garnered Second Team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association honors for the second consecutive season as the sophomore was given the nod for the 2019 listing.

Stackhouse, a native of St. Charles, Illinois, was tied for ninth in scoring among all of the women's soccer players in league competition during the 2019 season. She started in each of the team's eight conference games of the year and averaged just over 89 minutes per league match. Stackhouse tallied a pair of goals and two assists against MIAA foes in 2019. She had a .455 shot on-goal percentage while logging over 700 minutes of play in conference action. Named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week on September 3, Stackhouse led the team in points in league games for the second consecutive season.

Overall, she tallied 10 goals and seven assists in 17 contests during her sophomore campaign to lead Saint Mary's in goals, assists, and points for the second season in a row.

Stackhouse is the first player for Saint Mary's to repeat as an All-MIAA selection since the 2013 and 2014 campaigns which saw a pair of Belles garner back-to-back all-league honors. Moreover, she is the tenth player all-time in the history of the program to garner multiple All-MIAA postseason accolades.
