HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - Saint Mary's soccer player Margaret Slove has been named to the All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Second Team for the 2023 season.

 

A native of Spring Grove, Illinois, Slove paced the Belles offense in her rookie season on the pitch. She started in each of the team's eight conference matches of the year and was tied for eighth among all players in the MIAA in shots in league competitions with 19. Slove scored the team's opening goal in a tie against Albion for her first goal and points in league play for her career. A constant offensive threat in and out of MIAA competition, Slove led the team in goals (10), assists (three), and total points (23) with three game-winning goals during the year. 

 

Slove is one of just three freshmen named to an All-MIAA team in women's soccer for the 2023 season. It is the first All-MIAA postseason honor of her career.
