HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Soccer sophomore Margaret Slove was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week after her performances last week.
Slove helped lead the Belles to a 1-1 record last week, playing a key role in the win over Knox College in the home opener on Saturday. She was involved in all three of the Belles' goals, scoring two in the first half and assisting on the third early in the second half. In the two matches, she tallied 14 total shots with eight shots-on-goal.
Slove and the Belles prepare for a cross-town rivalry match on Tuesday when they host Indiana University-South Bend at the Purcell Athletic Fields with kickoff set for 5pm.
