
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Soccer fell to Calvin University on Saturday afternoon, 5-0. The Belles fall to 6-4 (1-1 MIAA) on the season while the Knights improve to 6-2-2 (2-0 MIAA)
Calvin got out to an early lead in the first half as they put up three goals in the first 45 minutes. Saint Mary's struggled to get the offense going as they registered just two shots in the half.
The Knights continued to dominate offensively as they put up two more goals in the second half to secure their victory. The Belles finished the match with five shots and two shots on goal.
Sophomore Margaret Slove led the Belles with four shots and had both of the teams shots on goal. Freshman Isabella Kreydich registered the lone other shot for Saint Mary's. Senior goalkeeper Riley Lindsey registered two saves on the day while facing 19 shots, the most the Belles have faced all season.

Saint Mary's continues the road trip with a trip to Adrian College on October 12 for a 7pm kickoff and then conclude the road trip on October 16 with a 4pm matchup with the University of Olivet.
