FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's freshman Alyssa Gulli was selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance last week.

 

A native of Warrenville, Illinois, she posted a 7-1 combined record at three doubles and three singles as the Belles earned a pair of conference victories. She went 4-0 on the week - including comeback wins in singles play against regionally-ranked Wheaton and conference foe Trine - to help the Belles to a 2-2 week overall. On Sunday, she was part of an 8-0 win at doubles before taking a 6-0, 6-0 singles win at Olivet.

 

It is the second MIAA Women's Tennis Player of the Week honor of the season for Gulli.
