FREELAND, Mich. - Megan Davy was selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance during the week of March 9-15.

 

A junior from Morris, Illinois, she went 4-2 last week at the number one singles and number one doubles positions for the Belles in Florida. She dropped just three combined games in straight-set singles wins against Illinois Wesleyan and Franciscan, and she and doubles partner Alyssa Gulli won by a combined 16-3 margin against those same two teams.

 

It is the first MIAA Tennis Athlete of the Week honor of the season for Davy, and it is the second such recognition of her career.
