ADA, Ohio - The Saint Mary's tennis team shouldered a tough 7-2 loss at Ohio Northern on Saturday.

The Belles went up 2-1 through the completion of doubles. Grace Clearwater and Hannah Gerner had a tough 8-2 setback at three doubles before Evelyn Demblans-Dechans and Anna Gardner claimed an 8-5 win at two doubles. Alayna Campbell and Emma Kealy then fought their way to a tight 8-6 win at one doubles for the Belles.

The Polar Bears, however, claimed all six singles flights in the match. Hannah Gerner fell 6-0, 6-1 at five singles, and Anna Gardner shouldered a 6-2, 6-1 setback at four singles.
