NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's tennis team claimed a commanding 9-0 win over visiting Olivet on Saturday during the Belles' Senior Day.

 

The Belles got off to a solid start with an 8-0 two doubles win by Anna Garner and Emma Kealy. Alyana Campbell and Evelyn Demblans-Dechans kept things going with an 8-1 win at one doubles, and Hannah Gerner and Katie Hunter teamed up for an 8-4 victory at three doubles for the 3-0 team lead.

 

Emma Kealy came off the court with a 6-0, 6-0 two singles win, and Evelyn Demblans-Dechans clinched the team victory with a 6-2, 6-0 decision at three singles. Katie Hunter picked up her second win of the day on her Senior Day with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at six singles. Alayna Campbell earned a 6-1, 6-2 win at one singles. Grace Clearwater captured a 6-1, 6-2 decision at four singles, and Hannah Gerner ground out a 6-4, 6-3 win at five singles to wrap up the day.

 

The Belles (15-6, 5-2 MIAA) are assured of a top-four finish in MIAA play heading into their final regular season match as they travel to Albion for a conference match on Wednesday, April 24 starting at 4:00 p.m.
