Belles Tackle ITA Central Regional With Strong Showings

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Tennis finished the ITA Central Regional on Friday and Saturday.

Singles

Senior Alayna Campbell and sophomores Anna Gardner and Sophia Pischalko competed in the main draw of the singles bracket. Campbell and Gardner were both victorious in their first matches while Pischalko fell in two sets. Campbell and Gardner would both bow out with losses in the second round. Pischalko would go on to compete in the consolation bracket where she would advance thanks to two bye draws but fall in the round of 32.

Doubles

Campbell and junior Evelyn Demblans-Dechans along with Pischalko and freshman Shannon Dudy competed in the doubles draw. Both teams were victorious in their opening matches before falling in the round of 32.

UP NEXT FOR THE BELLES

Saint Mary's returns home on Monday October 7 to host Grace College to close out the fall season with the match starting at 4pm.
