Why Saint Mary's: I chose Saint Mary's for its sense of community and sisterhood. Growing up as the youngest of three sisters, I always loved the care and sense of community and belonging that is cultivated between girls. I knew I absolutely wanted to run competitively in college, and when I first talked to Jackie, I knew that this close group of girls, and having a female coach, would be so much more beneficial to my happiness and performance as an athlete.
